Neluxsis LLC
Payment and Payout Terms
Version 2026-09-15 · Owners and travelers
1. Payment provider
Stripe is the payment processor for the booking marketplace. Stripe-hosted or Stripe-supported flows collect payment, identity, tax, and bank information where applicable. Neluxsis does not store full card numbers, security codes, raw bank account numbers, routing numbers, or bank login credentials.
Owners completing payment onboarding will also be subject to the applicable Stripe Connected Account Agreement and Stripe services terms presented by Stripe.
2. Card and bank payments
Travelers may be offered card or US bank account payment when available for the booking. Bank debit is not instant and requires authorization through Stripe. While a bank payment is processing, the booking remains payment pending and may receive a temporary date hold rather than confirmation.
A failed, returned, cancelled, or unverified bank payment does not confirm the booking. Checkout may withhold bank payment for a near-term stay when settlement timing would not safely permit confirmation.
3. Charges, schedules, and authorization
Checkout must disclose whether the traveler pays in full or under an approved installment schedule, each due date, the amount or calculation method, the consequence of a failed payment, and whether a payment method may be charged automatically under an affirmative authorization.
Neluxsis and owners may not use stored payment credentials for an undisclosed purpose. Any later charge for damage, extraordinary cleaning, lost access devices, approved changes, or another booking obligation must follow the accepted authorization, supporting-evidence process, payment-network rules, and applicable law.
4. Marketplace and processing fees
The traveler service fee is 7% of the applicable rental subtotal. The owner platform fee is 0% on all bookings, permanently — Neluxsis takes no commission from the owner payout.
Neluxsis does not add a separate payment-processing reimbursement to the traveler’s checkout total. The charge is created directly on the owner’s connected Stripe account, and the payment provider deducts its processing cost from the owner-side payout under its connected-account terms. The booking’s stored financial snapshot preserves the actual amounts and allocation.
5. Payouts, reserves, and adjustments
Owner payout is not guaranteed immediately after booking. Payout eligibility may depend on payment settlement, check-in timing, compliance readiness, fraud review, refund exposure, disputes, payment-provider restrictions, and the approved payout schedule.
Neluxsis or Stripe may delay, reverse, offset, or reserve funds where authorized by these terms, Stripe rules, a valid refund, a dispute, fraud prevention, or law. The applicable payout timing and status are recorded with the reservation.
6. Refunds, disputes, and negative balances
A refund, reversal, chargeback, bank return, dispute, or correction may adjust the traveler payment, Neluxsis fees, taxes, and owner payout according to the booking’s stored financial snapshot and the published cancellation and refund rules. Duplicate recovery is not permitted.
Refund and dispute funding follows the stored booking allocation, Stripe’s direct-charge and connected-account rules, the accepted cancellation policy, and applicable law. Neluxsis may offset or recover an owner negative balance only when supported by those records and rules.
7. Taxes and reporting
Tax calculation does not by itself satisfy registration, filing, remittance, or annual reporting duties. For Alabama reservations paid through Neluxsis checkout, Neluxsis collects and remits the applicable state, county, and municipal lodging taxes and preserves the corresponding transaction records. Owners remain responsible for taxes on amounts collected outside Neluxsis.
The system preserves separate parallel local levies and the records needed for applicable annual accommodation-address reporting. A material change to the platform role, funds flow, fee structure, or remittance allocation requires renewed legal and tax review before use.
